In the Shadows

So I'm sorry I haven't been posting lately. I'm wickid bizzy with the new comic. Managed to get this done at the dog park. The Shadow King. What a crazy super villain. I wish they'd do him justice in an xmen movie. How warped is it that Professor X- a humanitarian, basically killed the guy the first time they met by shutting his powerful, but evil mutant mind down and inadvertantly making King uber-powerful in the shadow realm of the psychic plane. He stands for all the negativity we really bring about by our own doing. The dark side of human nature given the ability to come and possess you whenever it wants to and then he forces you to turn on everyone else! Bad ass super villain that. It's like all the insane killers have a big daddy and he looks like a deformed freak with a big row of teeth. Basically Professor X went up against Freddy Krueger but all day long, instead of just in your dreams. Sometimes we can even fall victim to The Shadow King, but we fight him and then he'll fail. I think you fight him with love, but it helps if you're psychic because he's so powerful he'd probably kill you anyway. Alright I gotta go kill this guy. Peace.

Lightning Duck!

So I never stayed up 24 hours. I just decided that it was my vacation and that I really liked sleep. I think I'm better for it anyway. Kind of dumb to rest a big workload on a holiday weekend that is for "not working". Anyway this is the first pencilled page of Lightning Duck and the Mega Mammals! I would also like to announce the awesome news that I will be having a signing along with my friend Tim Fish and his friend Abby at Casablanca Comics in Portland ME on October 23rd! Mark your calendars as I already have! I expect to have Lightning Duck finished by then and hopefully printed in your hands!!!

Work hard, play hard

It's you and me labor day vacation. I'm determined after two nights of good sleep to go ahead and attempt at least one all-nighter. 24 hour comics comes early this year. Looking forward to separating myself from the outside world. Ha. Kind of impossible but I've been listening to Cat Stevens (before Yusuf) and that has been helping out.I have little breaks to keep myself in a creative "play" mode so it is more like I'm just jumping to and from entertaining activities that I like. It's working well so far. I invoke the strong spirit of Ororo Munroe to assist me in this endeavor!

sweat and tears

I'm totally going to rock the forth-coming weekend! I am determined to make a push that would get me in line for the next two months of work. I think that labor day this weekend will mean labor of love as I intend to do a couple 24 hour sessions possibly. I will nap but I will live and breathe the medium I love so much. I will create a small pocket of space time that will come out with uncalculable results. Please be willing to call and check in to make sure I'm eating. Ahhh it will be so nice to let the rest of the world go on without me.
