It isn't easy to manage anger and turn a sad face upside down. Kids know that and adults know that even though they may profess it to be easy. Everyone requires concessions be given up in order to make things agreeable. I don't necessarily like the word compromise and I think that as a whole person you can't agree to compromise all the time. Sometimes you have to stand up and get your way. The trouble comes from other people who feel the same. There is a certain beauty in being stubborn. We should all be stubborn when it comes to our dreams.
